How do you suggest I should write and organize the drafts of my content?

We definitely recommend using a tool outside of Wordpress–because if anything happens to your internet connection, your content is lost! Evernote is a FANTASTIC tool for keeping things organized. 

Neil has an editorial calendar where everything is scheduled, and posts go into the backend of Wordpress far before they are published. He also uses Google Docs frequently to collaborate with his writing team and virtual assistants. 

There are a million different ways to do this... If you're the sole writer, Evernote is super convenient. But if you have a lot of different people helping you out, then you probably want something like Google Docs that is free for everyone to use and collaborates so naturally and easily. It's not that Evernote doesn't do that, it's that Google Docs was made specifically just for writing collaboration. 

And Neil uses not only Basecamp to manage the team, but also Trello. (When you have a lot of different things going at once, sometimes it takes more than one tool to keep everything organized.) The good news is that Basecamp now integrates with Google Docs, for a better workflow. 

With Basecamp you can set up the editorial calendar, set to-dos, connect with Google Docs, etc. So it's a great tool for a team environment, or to just see it all at one glance. 

Again, you can do a lot of this with Evernote... but it's not as easy or integrated. A lot of our team members use Evernote for our private notes and web clipping and then synthesize it into more cohesive thoughts in Google Docs that others can view and collaborate on. 

There's no specific "right" way to do this–just the way that works for you. And as an aside... We have several modules dedicated just to content creation!
